Terms of Use

Last updated October 13, 2026

These terms cover your use of danleibrandt.com, which is run by me, Dan Leibrandt. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

My content

Unless I say otherwise, everything on this site belongs to me. That includes the writing, episode articles, images, and design. You're welcome to share links to any page and to quote short excerpts, as long as you credit me and link back to the original. Please don't republish whole articles, episodes, or images, or use them commercially, without my written permission.

Some material belongs to others, such as guests' photos, book covers, and quotations. It appears here with credit, and it remains theirs.

Guests and their views

The Dan Leibrandt Show is a place for serious conversations, and I don't always agree with my guests. What a guest says on the show or in an episode article reflects their own views, not necessarily mine.

No professional advice

Everything here is for general information and reflection. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical, or professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for your own pastor, counselor, or advisor. Use your own judgment and talk to a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

My older writing, including past business articles and the Local Marketing Secrets archive, is kept here as it was first published. Some of it may be out of date.

Links to other sites

The site links to sites I don't control, such as YouTube, guests' websites, and booksellers. I'm not responsible for their content, products, or policies.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site. That means no attempts to break or overload it, no scraping it in bulk, and no spam sent through the contact or signup forms. I may block anyone who does.

When you send me a message or idea through the site, you're confirming you have the right to share it. Sending a pitch or inquiry doesn't create any obligation for me to respond or work with you.

No warranties

I work to keep the site accurate and running, but I provide it as it is, without warranties of any kind. I can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that come from your use of the site or your reliance on anything in it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
